Перші гості IV Міжнародного ковальського фестивалю почали збиратися у мистецькому готельному комплексі «Хутір» вже 28 серпня.
Ті, хто не встиг доїхати, мабуть жалкували, адже ковальська вечірка в зазначений день давала можливість ознайомитися із творчістю Артема Вольського та презентацією II тому ковальської енциклопедії XX-XXI ст. ЛНАМ. Традиції презентувати розвиток власної творчості із художнім металом, за задумом організаторів, буде поширюватися й надалі.

Загальна скульптура за авторством Артема Вольського у вигляді дерева, в кроні якого, як плоди, розміщені такі життєві цінності як духовність, час, любов, достаток, мир, родина, милосердя, стала ще однією філософською роботою парку Молоді на Лебединці. Руки, що захищають дерево скульптури, яскраво нагадують про те, що усі дари в наших руках, а від нас особисто залежать ті цінності, які ми вибираємо.

Конкурс ковальської скульптури проходив за темою «Патріотизм» і традиційно оцінювався усіма учасниками-ковалями фестивалю. Перше місце, фактично одностайно, отримала робота «Кузні Росич» із Рокитного Київської області за композицію-пам’ятник усім загиблим за свободу і незалежність України «Воля або смерть». Твір виконаний не лише на високому професійному рівні, але й глибоко близький українцям, відтак відкрите голосування віддало йому і приз глядацьких симпатій. Друге місце отримали Віктор Балдич та Станіслав Трофімов із Рівного за роботу «Карта України», а третє виборов Андрій Бурковський з міста Вишневець Тернопільської області за твір «Символ влади», в якому можна побачити стилізовані символи керування, оббріхування та підступності політичного світу. Так, Троянський кінь з’являється усюди, коли замість поваги до свого народу авторитети країни демонструють жадобу до збагачення, зрадливість і віроломство.

На фестиваль до Рівного з’їхалися представники ковальської спільноти з 11 областей України, від Закарпаття до Краматорську, від Запоріжжя до Сум.

Новою традицією стало також представлення виставки художників-ковалів. Цього року свої творчі здобутки й пошуки у матеріалі демонстрував Роман Велігурський. 

LIFE VALUES

The first guests of the IVth International blacksmithing festival gathered in the art hotel complex “Khutir” (Hamlet) already August 28. People, which did not arrive at this time, obviously regretted, because this day’s blacksmithing party gave the possibility to get acquaintance with Artem Volsky art as well as with a presentation of the second volume of blacksmithing encyclopedia of XX-XXI centuries, issued by Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAA). The organizers plan to develop for future events these traditions of personal creation’s presentation, connected with the artistic metal.

This year’s author of the collective sculpture was Artem Volsky. The creation represents a tree, where at the top they can see the main life values as spirituality, time, love, wealth, peace, family, charity. This sculpture became one more philosophical artwork in Lebedinka Park of Youth. Hands, which protect this sculptural tree, clearly remember that all gifts are in our hands and we are responsible about the values that we choice for our life.

The theme of the blacksmithing sculptures’ contest was “Patriotism” and traditionally all participants and visitors of the event appreciate the best works. The creation of “Smithy Rosich” from Rokitne of Kyiv region, gathered practically one accord. Their work under the name “Freedom or Death” as composition-monument was dedicated to all people, perished and suff ered for the independence and freedom of Ukraine. This artwork is not only the sample of professional forging art, but it is deeply emotional close to all Ukrainians. Looking for this, this sculpture-monument obtained also the prize of viewers likes. Viktor Baldych and Stanislav Trofi mov from Rivne took the second prize for their work “Map of Ukraine”. Andryi Burkovskyi from Vyshnevets of Ternopil region for his artwork “Symbol of power" won the third one. There are all stylized symbols of control, slander and guile of the political world represented there. In such way, Trojan horse appears everywhere, when politic authorities demonstrate their thirst for enrichment, treachery and perfi dy instead of respect for their county people.

Rivne festival gathered the representatives of blacksmithing community from 11 regions of Ukraine since Transcarpathia to Kramatorsk, since Zaporizhzhya to Sumy.

The new tradition of the festival became the exposition of the artistic blacksmiths. This year Roman Veligursyi demonstrated his own researches and achievements in different materials.
